Personal Lubrication: Get the Slippery Details

We sell online condoms across Australia, but we also sell online lubricants. Personal lubricants can be used with or without condoms. Whatever your pleasure, lubricants are known to increase it.
What is a Personal Lubricant?
Any substance that reduces friction is a lubricant. Personal lubricants are lubricants that use materials that are safe for human consumption. The end result is to make sex more pleasurable due to reducing friction on your moving parts.
Personal lubricants come in three types: oil-based, water-based and silicone based. Here is a closer look at each.
Water Based
Water based lubes are the most natural. They also clean up the easiest. They provide the nicest feel on bare skin. Most of all, for condom users, they don’t damage the integrity of your condom. That means you can feel safe every time you have sex.
Silicone Based
Silicon is a natural element. When silicon and oxygen atoms form alternating chains, it is called silicone. When used as a personal lubricant, silicone is soft and silky; it is soothing and leaves the skin smooth and soft. Silicone is also hypoallergenic; this means you can use it with pretty much anyone and not worry about adverse reactions.
Silicone is safe for latex condoms and it is also safe for toys. The only exception is that you can’t use silicone lube with silicone toys because it tends to break them down over time. Silicone lubes are also great for “water play.” Water based lubes wash off in water, but silicone based lubes stay intact when wet.
Oil Based
We don’t carry any varieties of oil-based lubricants because of one main reason: they break down latex condoms and make them fail. In addition, they can be difficult to clean off of your skin and off of any toys you may be using. They can promote infections and ruin sheets and pajamas.
